about

This record saw novelist Jonathan Coe ('What A Carve-up', 'The Rotters Club', 'Middle England', Mr Wilder & Me') team up with his friend Louis Philippe at the invitation of Bertrand Burgalat, who'd launched a series of collaborations between writers and musicians for his Tricatel label, with Danny Manners contributing three key compositions to this musical evocation of Coe's fictional universe.
