about

The second and last album recorded under Louis Philippe's and Dean Brodrick's names, which sees Cathal Coughlan of Microdisney and The Fatima Mansions share lead vocals with LP on two songs. Notable for the complexity and the virtuosity of its vocal work, 'Jean Renoir' sees future close collaborator Danny Manners contribute his first full arrangement to a LP song, Kurt Weill's 'Tout Bas'.
